Divided into Four Swarms, they engage in a constant war for flower nectar.

Each day, their fatal battles never reach a conclusive resolution,

since these alien animals are subject to a natural process of perpetual revival…

So as their unceasing struggle for survival goes on & on,

with no end to the repetition due to reincarnation,

the question becomes: will they ever break the cycle & attain liberation…?

---The following character-designs are from an alternate ending to the “full-length story” version of Soul Swarm Samsara; in which a fifth Swarm from outer-space descends & hybridizes with both the Golden Swarm AND their reptilian/amphibian predators by utilizing “infector-injectors” to transform them, much like a virus overrides a normal cell.

While the “short-length story” version features the liberation of the larger predators only after their extinction, this alternate sequence of events would have more completely liberated all involved, because they would no longer be limited to living bound upon a planetary abode, even one as lovely as the Flower-Field World.

Since it is HIGHLY unlikely that I will go back and finish that longer version of the story, I’m including the following two pictures as a bonus.
